Yes, Gallus, he was, you know that. But the last few months had been different. He was leaving. But, now, after a few days, my eyes have been opened. He missed out and when his wife decides she don't want him again, I won't be there this time.

I am sorry that you got stuck in his web.
People like that will end up with nothing.
I think he is correct that you could of been anyone.
You just happened to be the first he seen.
I have seen that happen often.
I know a friend who is in danger of losing everything because he is cheating on his wife and his son found out about it. Now his wife and children hate him. They just tolerate him in the same house.
I am thinking of "if only" you know what I think of you.
I would be your knight only and stuff the rest and hide the mints just for me.

You are not stupid, Darlene.

Being caught up in a web like you have, may seem stupid when viewed from the outside or when we ourselves manage to analyze it with more distance. But when we are there, when we love someone, when our heart and body long for that person, it is incredible to what lengths we are willing to go.

I have been there myself, in a similar situation as yours, twice, and each time I loved her, waited for her and hoped. Until of course, I gave up and realized that too many who have relationships "on the side" will never leave their partner. In my case, it even inspired her partner to pull himself together and become the husband he should have been in the first place :-) Which was nice for her, of course, but less fun for me.

So, Darlene, if you are anything, it is human with an ability to love. If I should give you any advice, it would be to keep your hear warm and to be extremely careful/critical if you should meet/fall in love with a married person again.
